A Billion Tree Campaign....

I discovered this exciting new campaign called:

Plantons pour la Planète: la Campagne pour un milliard d'arbres

Plant for the Planet: A Billion Trees Campaign

• It was started by the United Nations to encourage the planting of the trees to help off set the high carbon dioxide levels in the air.
• The reason for the high carbon dioxide levels in the air is because human beings have (and still are) logging our old growth forests (what is left of them anyway) faster than nature can heal from the destruction.
• It is up to us. We caused this destruction.
• We CAN and MUST repair our beautiful home.
