CCI Senior Seminar Weekend 10/22-24/2010

Renelle and I went to Santa Rosa for the weekend of October 22 -24 for the CCI Graduate Senior Seminar in addition to our 6 month public access evaluation - which we passed!

Our new friend Maureen and BC of retired CCI breeder Delhi, PR Shannon and a crew. Maureen has a beautiful and unusual home.

Here is the tour.

Bathroom sink in her son's room.

It is a pentagon shaped room with a loft and the door makes it a hidden room.

Here is the loft with a cat...yes Renelle was quite interested in the cat. Of course the cat was smart and stayed high up away from the dogs.

View from the room.

Staircase going from the up stairs to the down stairs.

The fire place made from railroad ties.

Views from the balcony.

The backyard.--------Meet Shannon Delhi's daughter from her last litter.

Back yard in the pool area. Not sure where Renelle is at this point. She was having fun running around Maureen's HUGE back yard with the other dogs.

Here is Delhi, such a sweet young lady and very much a mother!

They wanted into the family room and were waiting patiently.

Renelle and Shannon had a lot of fun playing with each other, whether it was tag, tug-o-war, or rough housing, they had a blast!

There she is! Renelle felt right at home the second day.

All the dogs were hanging out while Maureen was making dinner (Thanks Maureen!) From the foreground Renelle, Shannon, ?, Delhi, ??, ??? -sorry bad with names! Too many to remember!

The driveway, right before we left to return to Humboldt. That weekend there was a huge storm that rolled through Northern California. Here you can see how much it rained.

Thanks to Maureen and the crew from letting us invade their beautiful home and it was wonderful to see Joyce with my classmate Merri and Besty (HD) along with Debbie, her son Jer and Ramos (SC) and last but not least Ken the Hearing Dog Trainer.

Peace!
C & R.

How fun to be invited to stay at a home where there are so many interesting things to look at! You wouldn't think that it'd be dog-friendly!
