Fini!!!!
Hi Everyone!
The Spring semester is officially over! We had really nice dinner at the Newman Center last night to celebrate with those you are graduating. Today is Commencement and I will be attending a party for my friend Amanda this evening.
Of course it has been extremely hot here for the last few days (we are talking 85, for here that is hot) of course everyone is hoping that the weather for today will be cooler (those poor professors in their heavy ceremonial robes!)
Well, for the last two weeks I have been sitting on my bed with my computer in my lap with books and papers surrounding me will frantically writing several papers. I was blessed to get a short extension on two of them. Thanks Professor!
Although Spring is officially over I have been given permission to rewrite some of my essays over the summer to bring up my grade, so for me, Spring is far from over. But that is okay, now I will be able to actually read the readings rather that rush through them. You know I look a a couple books and I do no recall even looking at them? I know I did though. Sigh.
Oh well.
What else am I up to? Well, I am looking for a job up here this summer, so please keep me in your prayers for that one! I am also getting together with some friends and we are going to study for the GRE so we can take it in the Fall. I am also going to be looking into Graduate schools and start preparing applications for those I am interested (and can realistically get into). Of course I will make home for a couple of weeks (have to attend to the doctors :-) ).
Well, that is pretty much it for now. Until later....
