Computer problems again!

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I have not written in a while, not much to say really. Just working, going to church, and more computer problems.

The first time they had to replace the hard drive, the CD and there were software issues (what that was HP didn't explain). So instead of putting Windows XP back on they put on Vista (absolutely the worst operating system!). Took four calls to get it in for repairs.

Of course I had to call after I got my computer back because MS made it complicated to get on the wireless Internet (this took two calls and never was resolved by them, my father spent several hours and finally got it to work).

It was working fine until last night.

Well, the latest is that when they installed Vista (did I mention how bad it is?) HP failed to send me the product code along with the CD (by the way, they did not send the XP CD when I got the computer in December). My computer keeps saying the the Vista program I have on my computer is not genuine and will not let me in. All I need is the Product Code...which HP Tech's seem unable to get for me from the repair center.

After another set of numerous phone calls to HP (four this time around), I got a so called tech support operator to talk to a supervisor (of course Henry wouldn't let me talk to the supervisor, Tim, myself). They are sending me a recovery CD along with the XP CD. Of course this is Thursday and they can't have it delivered to me Saturday Morning. Do I am stuck with out my computer until (God willing) Monday night. Of course, the good news is that they are not charging me for a product that I already bought, but never got an actual CD for. How generous!

Luckily for me I have almost nothing on my computer to lose this time around. Which reminds....Please e-mail me your address and phone number (not on here but my personal e-mail you have that), so I can redo my address book .

Thanks!

Peace!
