If enough of us choose to change even one small thing, together we have the power to change anything.

One Sick Squrrel....or puppy...

Okay, maybe not that bad. But still head colds are NASTY!!!! and they suck.

So here I am wrapped in a blanket, hot steaming cup tea in my hand and a handy box of tissue...sniffling, sneezing and blowing.

Well, I got my first math exam back and as I predicted...I got a "D". So I'm miserable on top of being sick. If anything kills me, math will. Well, at least my other classes are going okay. So here is something nice.

Here is a view from Founders Hall. It was the first building built on campus and it is located at the top of the hill.

I am hoping to have some pictures soon. If the rain stops during the weekend I finish the roll.

Well, I think I will curl up now and think about getting some energy to eat.

Peace!

Interesting.......HSU is a Federal Depository!

Hi All!

Here is a bit of an update on what is happening. I learned something very cool this week. HSU is a Federal Depository. What that means is the HSU gets any published Federal Document that is on HSU request list (they are supposed to be declassified, but occasionally the printing department recalls documents...Hehe). Mostly Environmental, Forestry, and Agriculture type stuff, but there are others, for example The Foreign Service documents, a monthly book of index with everything the Govt publishes. We have stuff dating back to the late 1800's! It is VERY cool. I have an assignment for History 210 (its a 5 page report) to help us use the sources for the foreign service, congressional records, and executive records. I was assigned 1914. Talk about wow! There is some much I didn't know about WWI.

In this very cool process I rediscovered a long forgotten perfume...Old Books!

My other History class 226 starts on February 12 and it meets for 6 days. This class is to teachus how to use the internet for research...now that will be interesting.

I love it though.

My other classes are okay. I am enjoying my Ecology class.

Jazz is interesting, however the teacher is kinda wacky...but then again most musicians are wacky (yes, you to Debra!). The professor is having a "Drum Day" in which he wants every student to come a keep a rhythm. Oh joy, I got that out of my systems years ago...now I just enjoy watching the professionals do their work. What is interesting is he has talked about the different techniques that Jazz drummers use and I think about how Damien has used those exact same things! The Professor must be generalizing.

Journalism is okay. My Professor seems to be all over the place, but as long as I do my readings and assignments I'll be fine.

Math..well...have I mentioned how much I hate math?

Well, That's All Folks! (For now anyway, I'm going to try and go to Mad River Beach either today or tomorrow...pictures to follow soon!)

Peace!
